I teach yoga

The yoga I teach is inspired by some prominent figures.

Vanda Scaravelli. An extraordinary woman who has learned yoga from BKS. Iyengar in his long stay at his home in Switzerland who has studied the philosophy with Jiddu Krishnamurti.

In its path of Yoga TKV Desikachar has known, son of the great yogi Krishnamacharya and studied with him, who taught the radical importance of breath.

The journey in search of Vanda has gone from a deepening of the breath: the study of gravity and a special form of poetry imbued with natural cues. He has written an extraordinary book only, Awakening the Spine, become a great source of inspiration for many yoga teachers from around the globe. This is not an alternative to classical yoga:it is rather a special reading, A detailed analysis of the respiratory and poetic at the same time executing a posture, a work that gives great freedom in spirit and in the members. The path to the final posture is more important than the same posture. Vanda Scaravelli taught five students in the world.

Even my yoga is inspired by these principles and my yoga studios are accompanied by Sandra Sabatini, one of five students of Vanda.

T.K.V. Desikachar. He teaches the importance of an individual relationship between teacher and pupil, because not all the poses are good for all, Not all practices are good for all: must respect the body, be simple and humble. Desikachar afferma: “Yoga is relationship and relationship is peace”. Just as the tradition of these teachers want, My studies continue to be individual relationships with those who taught me. And what concerns me in my teaching is the art of adapting the practice to individual needs.

Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnu Devananda. I have thoroughly studied philosophy of Vedanta in the Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy in Netala, Himalayas, India and moved me along the traditional teaching of life of guru and pupil, in an ashram, the venue for spiritual studies. Raja Yoga pulito, free from frills, Modern additives or excessive mentalizzazioni. Hatha yoga experience for what it is, ie the need to live in a healthy body so the mind can go into meditation. I loved the message of peace and the absence of financial interests.
The work of the school is a true Karma Yoga Sivananda.

Yogi Manmoyanand. I read an interesting book that he wrote some years ago “Sivananda Buried Yoga” and I wanted to meet him in person. Person who arouses contradictory feelings, but certainly an intelligent and special yogi.

My groups are small, I like it: work with fewer students at a time. I like support with care and dedication the growth and development of a practical, or a posture, with the student. I do not just describe the posture of the group, must bring the student to live in its essence and help out where it leads.

In the path of yoga lessons could also propose that the practice becomes a journey of deep personal understanding.

We try to work effortlessly, although the postures are challenging, through dialogue with the deep breathing.

There will cyclically standing poses, sessions, supine, prone, torsions, posture of balance, practices of pranayama, concentration (dharana), practice of chanting mantras, practice of yoga nidra, readings and philosophical teachings of Vedanta.

In my classes there is a clear distinction between beginners and advanced students, in the tradition of my teachers. Everyone takes what he can by my words and each posture, even the apparently simpler and less demanding, can lead to a state of deep concentration.

We are all equal in front of a yoga practice and repetition you discover new gems.

I provide in my teaching that I have learned so far, what I have deeply internalized, what is really part of my cells, how would the Mere: “what I found”. Humbly.
