Meditation

Description of practice

Learn how to create a space in itself, another dimension that can be known. The first step is the concentration. The next is the abstraction of thoughts.
There are various techniques to calm the mind: use of respite, use of vision, use of sound, quiet observation of the mental process.
Meditation is a state of being that with practice it becomes an integral part of life.

For meaningful results on the calm of mind and concentration should be practiced regularly.

The meetings that we propose are preparatory to the knowledge of some meditative practices and are intended as a support for individual practice.

Who has not pondered this experience is encouraged to try, long time meditator will find a space for sharing.

Practice 2012- 13

Fortnightly meetings on Friday 21.00.
The session is usually conducted by Federica Gazzano and, when will be in Torino, by Gianpaolo Fiorentini.

Federica propose an approach of raja yoga meditation, and reading passages relevant to human evolution and spiritual traits from the Bhagavad Gita.

Gianpaolo Fiorentini propose a Buddhist approach.

Donation to cover the expenses of the center.
